Burglar Lost Environment Concept Project
A project that I did for Teeside University called Burglar Lost where it is a story about Alise and her companion searching for an Artefact that contains unfathomable powers that everyone is willing to go to war for, just to get their hands on its power and rule over this dystopian-like world where no rulers are permanent.
Alise finds herself in a strange place with remnants of the 'old world' swallowed up by fleshy veins originating from the artefact within its own protective cage of flesh and bones. Is this the power of the so-called Artefact?...
Early concepts and sketches of the environment with the artefact and composition in mind.
The idea and goal was to show just how terrifying and powerful the artefact is through the portrayal of the environment. Hence, the idea of the artefact affecting the environment was made.
The artefact is mainly a combination of several ideas. Inside the cage of flesh and bone is the actual artefact with flesh spewing out from the cavities of the metallic sphere to show the mysterious origin of it.
The metallic sphere with flesh being contained in it was the original idea but to add a layer of protection and making it harder for anyone who seeks its power to get it, the idea of the flesh and bone cage was implemented.
